Nutrient Analysis Disclosure
This disclosure explains how Return reports the nutrient values published for its products, how those values are verified, and how you or your agronomist can request a recent analysis for your source.
01 How We Report Nutrient Values
Return publishes nutrient information as long-run averages, not results from single samples. Our averages come from years of verified laboratory analyses. Each average covers one product type (turkey finish, turkey brood, or chicken litter) in one region. Every verified result goes into the average, the highs and the lows. We never combine different product types, and we don't pick out one sample as "typical."
02 Why Averages
Poultry litter is a natural material, and its makeup changes from barn to barn, from cleanout to cleanout, and with moisture. One lab report describes one sample at one point in time. It doesn't describe every load. We think averages built from a large verified dataset give you the most accurate picture of what to expect.
03 How Results Are Verified
We sample our source farms on a regular schedule. Before a new result goes into our dataset, we check it against past results for the same product and region. If a result looks unusual, we verify it and may resample before using it. We only leave a result out when it's shown to be invalid, for example because of a sampling, labeling, or lab error.
04 Requesting a Recent Analysis
You or your agronomist can ask for a recent analysis for your source. Contact your Return sales consultant, and our team will send the most recent verified report that represents that product and source. For accuracy, we don't share individual reports that are still under review.
05 Planning Your Nutrient Applications
Our values are there to help you plan. They don't replace your own soil testing, your agronomist's recommendations, or any nutrient management plan or regulatory requirement that applies to your operation.
06 Updates
We review our published values at least once a year, and sooner if new verified data shows a real change. Values may be updated without notice.
07 Nutrient Statement
All nutrient information is based on averages from analysis by an independent, accredited laboratory. Litter is a natural and variable material. These values are not lot specific and are not guaranteed unless stated in a signed agreement or required label. Beyond nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, litter supplies organic matter, carbon, and secondary and micronutrients. Call your Return sales consultant for recent analysis.
08 Legal and Regulatory Disclosures
Nothing in this disclosure limits any duty Return has under law to share information, including for nutrient management or regulatory reporting.
